A regular exhibitor at the Paris Salons, Maison Andr Rambour was well-known for figural jewels of women and flowers, such as this "Femme-Fleur" pendant necklace in polychrome enamel and gold. Emerging from a purple enamel iris blossom among swirling leaves is the chased and engraved head of a young woman amid swirling hair and outstretched hand, suspended from a delicate fancy link chain and champlev enamel leaf among sinuous vines.
